What's for afters?

**If RUclips decides to block Independent Labels' material from their service, I will have to take down my channel, in a show of support for "the little guys" of the world.** PS:
These are clips from my personal archives. I do not own copyrights on any of the material contained in these files. These are shared for the simple reason, that I enjoyed most of these performances, and thought others would also.
Would have liked to share mp4's of these clips, so they'd be a bit more detailed and color-balanced, visually....but the upside is, they are at the max bit rate of 320 for the audio portion, and many of my tapes were recorded in Hi-Fi Stereo.
Any constructive criticism is welcome. Enjoy!
PS: I do not make a penny from the videos shared on this channel; ANY ads you see are imposed by RUclips / the copyright owners. So vent to them, ok?!
Otherwise, as SnidelyWhiplash wrote:

Spacehog - In the Meantime [Conan 1-5-96]
(Hi-fi Stereo) Another live take of this song, performed on late night USTV, with a clearer picture & sound IMHO.

The singer-songwriter makes a rare appearance on late night USTV, performing one song, and sitting down for a humorous interview. Unfortunately, my videotape ran out before the interview [and second ditty] was performed.

Freedy Johnston top of his game!
His best song!
5:06
Cleveland Rocks
I remember when this played on TV clear as day 35 years later. I had heard of the band but had not actually heard them. This song triggered one of the greatest love affairs of my life. I still recall the thrill of "Rock me Joey" at 1:41 then that gorgeous interplay of the twin guitars after the short solo, then being mesmerized at 2:07 when he is holding the chord shapes and he doesn't strum but you can still hear the faint chord ringing...still so amazing all these years later.
Unreal
Aaaaaay ❤❤❤❤❤🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦👮🏽♂️
This performance is everything - such an insane rendition that adds so much to an already great song!
How could Sir Ray possibly not see Dave's love for him when he sees the emotion he puts into his songs? It makes me wonder if Ray is actually an asshole?
Whomever the subject of this song is, they must feel very special indeed ❤
Praise you God
I wish more modern bands would do live rock/EDM live performances. So many rely on live DJ mixes and light shows
I like Gary lee Connor. He was integral to the success of the screaming trees. Unfortunately I find his vocal contributions to this performance entirely negative. He drowns Mark’s vocals with tuneless drawl.
El rock verdadero es ese el denominado punk rock y los unicos ellos serán por siempre ellos y nadie mas y por supuesto el jamas superado joey.. que esten descanzando en paz🙌
She was only 17 when this aired
This band was smoking hot. They were tight as hell. Brilliance wrapped in madness.
The real deal
He does talk like a poet!
I think Lee Connor was unjustly vilified in Mark’s excellent sing backwards and weep memoir. That said, lee’s vocal contribution to this performance only served to mar the delivery of the song
conan and fallon when he took over conans spot always had the best and most obscure music! 🙏 props to them
This was a great show for cool music. Possibly the only show where something as interesting and non commercial like this would be aired. Carla was the best!
"How was I to know she was with the Russians Too." Was Warren speaking of Hillary way back then?
Greatest music video ever ?!? DL a "tad" creepy, but it's 'show biz'; he's certainly helping to promote the band here. Also, she is 'beautifully awkward' in the 'end part' of this video.
Goo Goo Dolls performed on New Year's Rockin Eve 1996. There is No Entire Show as of yet.📼
Bom dia huuummm que batia musica pra de kilometro abraço do seu seguidor e fã n.01 joao roberto prates guaraci são paulo brasil
J'ai des sensations quand j'écoute ça repose en paix l'icône de la musique congolaise
Their musicianship is off the charts
Love the shirt “One Hit Wonder”! True statement, but the song still slaps today!
5:06 My fav mini scene of this is when she asks if she can ask a question and the Reaper impatiently asking "What?!" The clenched fist going open as he asks her is so perfectly timed and done.
I remember watching this when it was on ........GREAT performance! I think Bryan Adams also did a show ("The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You") - I think it was this song, anyway.
These songs carry us through the things that we were going through and they fit with it. And they were inspiring and this is from a black kid that grew up on upper. LF side of New York City, it's either. Didn't have rock arrows in you. Hey, white privilege is what they passing onto us. And rocket roll is part of it.
FUCKING GREAT!
young Janeane Garofalo too
such a great song
Magic
Night Music was an exceptional live music show!! Incredible acts like Miles Davis, Sun Ra, this guy!! Nothing like it today but also current music is a sad state of affairs.
I remember this show and used to watch reruns of Midnight Special (on VH1, I think), and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. Man, those were some great moments.
Was there, knew ahead of time what was going to happen, set my vcr and recorded it
내겐 좋은 사람이 많다고 생각해~!
Wiki states that "Cole said her 1996 song "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?" was intended as a commentary on gender stereotypes, but the feminist message was misinterpreted by many listeners who did not realize the song was intended to be satirical" I'm not buying it. Sounds like a revisionist take on it after she probably got some heat over its obvious real meaning from the uber-feminist types.
The right group for the right time
2024 still a Magical Moment..
Good God but they were radiant. Electrifying performances of otherworldly, deeply, deeply moving songs. There's no one like them.
If the date's correct the next day they opened for the Grateful Dead at Sam Boyd Silver Bowl.
2024 and on my favorites playlist. ❤❤❤ total jam! Voice, bass, everything!
FLAIR!!😮
VIRTUOSO!!! TOP TEN. MAYBE TOP FIVE. RIP
this is golden
Can it get better.
great stereo sound!
Why, thank you for noticing, and taking the time to say so :-)
